In conjunction with Social Work Day 2026 in Singapore, we celebrate the heart, compassion, and quiet strength of our social workers — not just through the lives they touch in the community, but through the little ones who watch them every day.

At home, they are mothers. At work, they are pillars of support, walking alongside individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult moments. Their children may not always see the full picture, but they grow up witnessing kindness, resilience, and the importance of caring for others.

Our Family Day x Back To School held at the end of last month was a full-day adventure of learning, bonding and fun at Science Centre Singapore! ✨

From morning icebreakers and an exciting “Atom’s Quest” Amazing Race around the exhibits, to hands-on station challenges, mini games and meaningful reflection activities, families journeyed together, supported by our amazing youth volunteers from Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah. 💙

One highlight was the Puzzle Quest, where families completed family-friendly activities at each station and earned puzzle pieces along the way. As they pieced the puzzle together, it revealed positive qualities that make a strong family such as resilient, respectful, responsible, understanding and kind, reminding everyone that every small effort builds something beautiful when done together. 🧩

The day ended with prize-giving, encouragement cards exchange, receiving of Back To School vouchers and goodie bags, as we celebrated family bonding, teamwork, discovery and preparing our children (and parents too!) for the new school term ahead. 📚🚀
