The leadership of the SHIIP Project and senior management of the Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction & Housing convened their monthly coordination meeting today at the Ministry’s headquarters.
Chaired by the State Minister, Hon. MP Siciid Maxamuud Heid, the session brought together the Director General, Mr. Farah Abdinuur Ahmed and the SHIIP Project Coordination Unit led by Mr. Ahmed Duale (Project Coordinator). A detailed progress report was presented, highlighting key achievements to date.
Discussions underscored SHIIP’s pivotal role in boosting national infrastructure development and strengthening regional connectivity. The meeting also addressed current challenges and explored opportunities to enhance implementation and maximize project impact.
The session aimed to review recent performance, assess successes and challenges, and accelerate planned activities to ensure SHIIP continues to progress efficiently.
