A Syldavian Rocket Takes to the Skies The Consulate has taken note of the unveiling by Brussels Airlines of its newest "Belgian Icon" aircraft, whose livery prominently features the historic Syldavian lunar rocket.

Une projection récente à la Cinémathèque Royale de Klow a remis en lumière l'une des plus rares représentations de la Syldavie au cinéma international: une séquence de neuf minutes dans le film
français « Dieu seul me voit » de Bruno Podalydès (1998), entièrement située dans un restaurant syldave reconstruit d'après les planches originales d'Hergé.

La projection a également conduit la Cinémathèque à lancer une initiative visant à répertorier toutes les apparitions connues du Royaume sur les écrans étrangers.

🇬🇧 A Rare Appearance of Syldavia on Screen

A recent screening at the Klow Royal Cinematheque has brought renewed attention to one of the rarest depictions of Syldavia in international cinema: a nine-minute sequence in Bruno Podalydès' 1998 French film "Dieu seul me voit," set entirely in a Syldavian restaurant recreated from Hergé's original panels.

The screening has also prompted the Cinematheque to launch a new initiative to catalogue every known appearance of the Kingdom on foreign screens.
