It consists of the Regiment, the Coast Guard, the Air Guard and the Defence Force Reserves.

On 12 June, Colonel Jozette McLean delivered the feature address at the graduation ceremony of Carenage Girls' Government Primary School, held at the Diego Martin Community Centre. In her address, she encouraged the graduating students to aim higher, work hard, and always do their best. She urged them to believe in themselves, pursue their goals with determination, and strive for excellence as they move on to secondary school.

Chief of Defence Staff, Commodore Don Polo, led by example by donating blood at a Ministry of Health blood drive hosted by the Ministry of Health Trinidad and Tobago. The initiative was led by the Honourable Dr. Lackram Bodoe, Minister of Health, along with Senator the Honourable Darrell Allahar, Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, who was also present.
