The City’s Stormwater teams have been hard at work on New McEver Road, completing major improvements from Main Street to Acworth Industrial Drive. 🚧
This project included the installation of brand-new curb and sidewalk infrastructure, along with upgrades to several storm drains in the area. These improvements will help enhance pedestrian safety, improve drainage, and reduce roadway wear over time—making the corridor safer and more reliable for everyone.
To minimize disruptions for our community, much of this work was completed during nighttime hours, helping reduce traffic impacts and keep this busy roadway moving as smoothly as possible during the day.
This project is a great investment in our city’s infrastructure—supporting better stormwater management, protecting our roads from erosion, and improving accessibility for residents and visitors alike.
We appreciate everyone’s patience as we worked to complete these upgrades and look forward to the long-term benefits they will bring!
