BIDDEFORD, MAINE
MDEA and the Biddeford Police Department announce the arrest of three individuals for drug trafficking in Biddeford, Maine.

ARRESTED:
Amanda Guidi, 45, of Biddeford was charged with four counts of Aggravated Trafficking in Scheduled “W” Drugs (arrest warrant).

Wayne Bonnor, 50, of Connecticut was charged with Unlawful Possession of Scheduled “W” Drugs.

Axel Harford, 37, of New York was charged with Aggravated Trafficking in Scheduled “W” Drugs.

All are being held at York County Jail, and their respective bails have been set at $25,000.00 pending their initial appearances.

For the past two months, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency has been investigating information that they received regarding a drug trafficking organization in York County. This intelligence received from MDEA’s local law enforcement partners and the public resulted in the identification of two main trafficking locations in Biddeford. Undercover purchases of illegal drugs were subsequently made from these addresses in Biddeford. The Biddeford Police Department and United States DEA assisted throughout this investigation.
On October 28, 2026, A judicial search warrant, along with arrest warrants, were sought and granted for two locations, 25 Lambert St. and 7 Harrison Ave., in Biddeford.

At approximately 6:00 am, on October 29, 2026, MDEA, Biddeford Police, USDEA, and the Southern Maine Special Response Team (SMSRT) executed search warrants at these two residences. Amanda Guidi, Wayne Bonnor, and Axel Harford were arrested at these locations.

A search of the two apartments resulted in the seizure of 147 grams of Co***ne and 58 grams of Co***ne Base (crack). Approximately $6,890.00 in suspected drug proceeds were located alongside the seized illegal drugs.

This investigation will continue, and additional arrests are expected.
The Maine State Police and the York County Sheriff’s Office also assisted in this investigation.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Booking photos are available at the York County Jail.

The MDEA stands committed to working with all federal, state, county, and local law enforcement partners in order to continue to identify and disrupt drug trafficking organizations who are attempting to distribute illicit drugs like fentanyl, co***ne, and methamphetamine in the State of Maine.

If you or someone you know suffers from substance use disorder, please call 211 or text your zip code to 898-211 for a list of resources available in your area.
If you have information about this investigation or the illegal sale of drugs in your community, you are urged to contact the Maine Drug Enforcement office closest to you or by texting MDEA to TIP411 (847411) or by calling the MDEA tip-line at 1-800-452-6457.

On Monday, October 19th, the York County Sheriff’s Office was proud to show that the Maine Special Olympics torch isn’t just for running with!

Deputy Matthew Cu**er of the York County Sheriff's Office was joined by other Maine Law Enforcement officers, dedicated volunteers, and generous sponsors from across the state for the 2nd Annual Tee Off for the Torch golf scramble at the Sanford Country Club.

This outstanding community event is estimated to raise over $15,000 for Maine’s Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) program, which provides critical funding and support for Special Olympics athletes throughout the state.

Thank you to everyone who participated, sponsored, and volunteered. Your support helps carry the Flame of Hope and creates meaningful opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities to compete, lead, and thrive.

We’re grateful for Maine Law Enforcement's continued dedication to this important cause and to the partners who make events like this possible. Together, we’re making a difference—one swing at a time.

On Tuesday, October 13th, at approximately 6:30 a.m., York County Sheriff's Deputies received a call about a suspicious person at the U-STORE Storage facility on the Emery Mills Rd. in Shapleigh. When deputies arrived on scene, they located a male behind one of the storage units. He was identified as Jason Desruisseaux (38-year-old, transient).

While conducting the investigation, deputies learned that several of the storage units had been broken into. It was also learned that Desruisseaux was on current conditions of release, with search conditions. During this subsequent search, Desruisseaux was found in possession of burglary tools including a grinder and bolt cutters. Deputies were then led to a stolen motorcycle that Desruisseaux is believed to have stolen from one of the units.

Desruisseaux was arrested for Burglary and Violation of Conditions of Release. He was transported to the York County Jail, where he is being held with no bail. He will make his first court appearance on Wednesday, October 14th at the York Judicial Center in Biddeford.
