💕 MEET OUR RESIDENT: PEGGY COOPER! 💕

🏡 Aliceville Manor Nursing Home Resident Spotlight 🏡

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on another one of our wonderful residents, Ms. Peggy Cooper! ❤️

Born in Fairfield, Alabama, and raised in Bessemer, Alabama, Ms. Peggy has a lifetime of wonderful memories, accomplishments, and wisdom to share!

❤️ Family is her greatest joy! Ms. Peggy is especially proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. When asked what makes her happiest, her answer was simple: FAMILY! 🥰

📚 A woman of many talents! Throughout her life, Ms. Peggy worked in electrical production and as a preschool teacher. She enjoys teaching, reading, attending church services, shopping, and spending time outdoors.

🎶 A few of her favorites! Ms. Peggy loves a delicious rib roast and enjoys listening to pop, classical music, R&B, and oldies. She also has a musical talent of her own—she sings in the choir! 🎤

🏈 One of her favorite memories is watching her son play in his first football game. When he scored a touchdown, she was so excited that she jumped up and proudly exclaimed, “That’s my son!” ❤️🏈 What a special memory for a proud mama!

🌷 Words of wisdom from Ms. Peggy:
“Know what YOU want to do, not what others want you to do. Follow your own path.”

Ms. Peggy also wants everyone to know that her kindness should never be mistaken for weakness. She’s a woman with a caring heart, strong values, and a mind of her own! 💪❤️

🏡 Aliceville Manor Nursing Home Resident Spotlight 🏡

This November, we are excited to shine the spotlight on one of our wonderful residents, Ms. Deborah Hallman! 💕

Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and raised in McCalla, Alabama, Ms. Deborah has spent her life making memories, raising a beautiful family, and enjoying the little things that bring happiness!

❤️ Family means everything to Ms. Deborah! She is the proud mother of four children—two sons and two daughters. One of her most treasured memories is the moment she found out her twins were boys! She was overjoyed to learn she would be welcoming two little boys at once!

🎨 What does she enjoy? Ms. Deborah loves playing bingo, arts and crafts, shopping, and going out to eat! Her favorite food is Chinese, and when it comes to music, she enjoys 80s rock and religious music! 🎶

😄 Something you may not know about her? She has a great sense of humor! Ms. Deborah describes herself as very independent and finds happiness in doing the things she enjoys and helping others.

🌷 Her advice to younger generations: “Pray that God keeps you protected from unseen things.”

At Aliceville Manor, we believe every resident has a beautiful story worth sharing. Ms. Deborah reminds us of the importance of family, independence, laughter, and enjoying life!
