Nearly 150 guests joined us at Avoca Museum for the premiere of Colonel Charles Lynch: A Zealous and Active Patriot! It was a wonderful evening of food, drinks, conversation, and local history, complete with a behind-the-scenes panel discussion and exclusive footage from the full interview with Kim Gordon, a descendant of an individual freed through manumission.

We are incredibly grateful to our predominantly volunteer cast, whose time and dedication made this production possible. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to all who helped bring this meaningful piece of Virginia’s history to life! 🎬🍿

This production was made possible with the financial support of the following:

Rick Lane
Minnie and Bernard Lane Foundation
Altavista Area YMCA Arts Council
Members of the Fauntleroy Family
Mike and Susan Perry
Lynch and Melanie Christian
