FLU VACCINE AVAILABILITY
Flu season is coming, and getting vaccinated is one of the best ways to protect yourself,
your family, and your community. Altus Medical Group is making it easy for eligible beneficiaries to get their flu shot. We will have flu vaccines available for all dependents (6 months+) and retirees on the following date and time:
• Date: 6 & 17 November 2026
• Time: 1300-1700
• Location: Altus Medical Group

As a reminder, the Altus Medical Group will be closed or have limited hours on the following days during this holiday season:
11 November 2026 - closed in observance of Veteran's Day
12 November 2026 - closed until 1300 for training
26 November 2026 - closed in observance of Thanksgiving
27 November 2026 - closed all day
10 December 2026 - closed until 1300 for training
24 December 2026 - closing at 1200
25 December 2026 - closed in observance of Christmas Day
01 January 2027 - closed in observance of New Years Day

• Time: 0700-1000
• Location: Medical Group, follow signs

Flu Symptoms
• fever* or feeling feverish/chills
• cough
• sore throat
• runny or stuffy nose
• muscle or body aches
• headaches
• fatigue (tiredness)
• some people may have vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in
children than adults.
*Not everyone with flu will have a fever.

🗓️ Starting Monday, Nov. 2, the new hours of operation for both departments will be 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. .
These adjusted hours are designed to allow our dedicated medical teams to prepare daily operations, ensuring that every pediatric patient, service member, and beneficiary family receives first-class, focused attention.

- Have an Active Referral to Jackson County Memorial Hospital (JCMH)? You may continue using your authorized visits at the JCMH Pediatric Clinic through the expiration date listed on your referral.
- Referral Expired or Need a New Appointment? Routine, acute, and well-child visits are available right here at the Altus Medical Group Pediatrics Clinic.
- Enrollment Remains Unchanged: All TRICARE Prime families remain fully enrolled with Altus AFB—no enrollment action is required on your end.
