UPDATE: District-Wide Internet and Phone Services Restored | FLCS

We are pleased to report that the internet and phone system outage has been completely resolved, and all connection services across the district are now fully functional.

Zayo technicians successfully isolated and fixed the underlying carrier issues this evening. All phone lines, district internet access, and internal systems have returned to normal operations.

We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and flexibility throughout this disruption while our technology team and service providers worked to restore full connectivity.

Update: District-Wide Internet and Phone Outage | FLCS

As you may know, FLCS’s internet and phone systems have been offline since Wednesday morning due to a fiber line break caused by construction crews near SR13 and Strawtown Road.
Technicians from Zayo worked through the night, replacing 1,600 feet of fiber cable and completing the primary physical repair around 11:00 a.m. today. While internal network connections between our school buildings are back online, our full internet connection remains down. Two technicians are currently on-site at the Central Office troubleshooting the remaining issue.
At this time, there is no estimated time for full restoration. Please note that due to the outage, tonight’s school board meeting will not be livestreamed.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your patience as we work to get all systems fully restored.

Sincerely,
FLCS Technology Department
