It was a great night at Arcadia City Hall where Pete Constantino was celebrated for his 40+ years of service as an umpire to Santa Anita Little League, and our neighboring communities. He has umpired for generations of little leaguers, and those generations came out to show their love and appreciation. SALL alum Riley Liang is the drum major of the Arcadia High School Marching Band, and was there to talk about the Arcadia Festival of Bands, and went off script to give a humorous and heartfelt tribute to Pete.

We will post separately an LA Times article that was written about Pete, and we are thankful for how he has supported our kids, and even our coaches all these years. I will respect the decision of the umpires! Thank you Pete!

Jacob Banuelos has hit a lot of home runs at the intermediate level! He hit 2 on 9/19, and 1 on 9/27, 10/10, and 10/17. 5 on the season!!

Arcadia City Council will be honoring our favorite longtime umpire Pete Constantino at Arcadia City Hall tomorrow night, 10/20/26 at their usual 7pm City Council Meeting. It will be at the top of the agenda, and we would like to invite everyone to attend to give Pete some well-deserved support and recognition as he has been umpiring at Santa Anita 40+ years. He has even made the trip to support our teams during district and sectional tournaments! We thank you Pete for your many years of service!
