Today we held our first Youth & Teen Advisory Team meetings! 🎉

Our director wasn't sure she'd need the full time for each meeting, but these young people had so many great ideas to share that we used every minute!

We know not everyone could make it today, but we're off to a fantastic start!

Here's our younger crew! We'll spare our teen advisor the embarrassment of a photo. You're welcome. 😉

What a fun afternoon at our first Trunk or Treat event at St. John Church in Auburndale!

Our stuffie friends were all tucked in and ready for a cozy Stuffie Sleepover Storytime. It was also a first for our Library Director—attending a library event in her PJs! 😂 But when the theme is a sleepover, you have to dress the part!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit us today! We had a wonderful time! 💙

Join our NEW Youth Advisory Team!

This group will be a place for youth and teens to share their ideas, interests, and opinions. Members will help us plan summer fun, suggest programs & activities, give input on new additions to our collection, and help us make our little library an even better place to be!

Our first drop-in meetings will be on Friday, October 30 (pssst...there's no school that day!)

Youth Ages 7-12: 10 am - noon.
Teens: noon - 2 pm

You bring the ideas - we'll bring the snacks! 🍪

BIG things are happening at our little library! Yesterday's Story Hour was packed with BIG smiles, BIG creativity, and some pretty colorful elephants!

Don't miss the fun with Ms. Sharon on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 am!

🎨Do things get messy? There's a good chance!
🤪 Loud & chaotic? Probably!
❤️ And we wouldn't have it any other way!!!

We may be a little library, but we've got BIG plans for our 2027 Summer Library Program and we need your help! 🔑

We're looking for tiny keys or shiny keys,
ones that are old but don’t need to be gold.
Rusty keys, even dusty keys,
and mystery keys? Oh yes, please!

Keys that are quirky, unusual, unique,
those forgotten in junk drawers for weeks!
So rummage around and see what you find,
we’d love to have keys of every kind!

🔑Donations can be dropped off at the library anytime during open hours.
