🧡 Squishy, slimy, and so much fun! Mrs. Adamian’s class had an absolute blast exploring pumpkin textures today. Cleaning out their fall pumpkin gave everyone a chance to try new sensory experiences, build fine motor skills, and celebrate the season together. So proud of our hardworking learners! 🍂✨

🔥 Stop, Drop, and Roll! 🚒

Our kindergarteners had an extra-special visit Monday from the brave team at the Asheville Fire Department! 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

Our little learners got a hands-on lesson in fire safety, learning important lessons like:
✨✨ Why firefighters are friendly helpers (even when wearing heavy gear and masks)
✨ How smoke alarms keep us safe at home
✨ An up-close tour of the big red fire truck! 🚛💨

Seeing their eyes light up when they got to see the gear up close was unforgettable. A huge thank you to our local firefighters for taking the time to educate, inspire, and keep our community safe! ❤️

🏈 Spirit Wear Friday for Eblen Charities! 💙

Throughout the month of October, our school is raising funds for Eblen Charities, and 100% of the money raised goes directly to Eblen to support their amazing work in our community!

Each Friday, we celebrate the donations collected that week with a fun dress-up day. Last Friday was Team Spirit Day, and our students and staff showed up in their favorite team gear! 🏀⚾

Check out all of our awesome kids and staff representing their favorite teams! We may have had a few groups who couldn’t quite agree on which team was the best 😉, but in the end, we all came together to celebrate and support a great cause!

We are so proud of our Jets for showing their team spirit and giving back to our community! ✈️💙

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, our Dual Language Kindergarten class had a special visit from one of our families!

They shared some of their beautiful cultural traditions and taught us about Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead). It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about and appreciate Hispanic culture.

Thank you to this wondeful family for sharing this special tradition with us!

🍿✨ POP, POP, POP… all five senses were hard at work! ✨🍿

Mrs. Eddington’s and Mrs. Brown’s kindergarten class celebrated the end of our Five Senses Unit with a fun popcorn exploration! We watched, listened, smelled, felt, and tasted the popcorn while describing our observations. 👀👂👃👅🖐️😋
