Spooky Stories in the Library!

Shhh... things got a little spooky in the CCE library! 🤫👻

Our incredible parent volunteers transformed the library into a total "creepy storypit" for our students. It was the perfect atmosphere for Mrs. Bamford to share some thrilling spooky tales with our Comets. We love seeing our library come alive with imagination! 📚🦇

Jumping into Inspiration with Nick & Kaylee Woodard!

Yesterday afternoon, our CCE Comets gathered in the cafeteria for a high-energy whole-school assembly with professional jump roper Nick and Kaylee Woodard! During the 30-minute show, the Woodwards amazed students with incredible jump rope tricks while delivering a powerful motivational talk about perseverance, practice, and aiming high. 🎨 History & Art in Action: 4th Grade Explores Native Texas Cultures!
Last week our 4th Grade Comets dove deep into Texas history to learn about the rich cultures, customs, and traditions of Native Texas peoples. To bring their learning to life, students explored traditional symbols and painted their own story rocks. Be sure to ask your 4th grader about the meaning behind the unique symbols on their rock!
