Hope starts here. 💜

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, our banner at the Family Justice Center in downtown Bakersfield serves as a reminder that help is available and that no one should have to face domestic violence alone.

If you or someone you love is experiencing domestic violence, knowing where to turn can be the first step toward safety and healing. Our Family Justice Center is here to connect survivors with the support and resources they need.

We’re so grateful for the many opportunities we’ve had recently to get out into the community, make meaningful connections, and raise awareness about the resources and support available through the DA’s Victim Services Unit/Family Justice Center. 💜✨

📸 We’re sharing photos from just a few of the recent events where you may have seen our team, including the Greenfield Family Resource Fair, Lamont Rancho Lindo Independence Day Resource Fair, Sikh Riders of America event, Del Oro High Career Fair, and Kern County Veterans Stand Down.

Thank you to all the organizers who make these connections possible!

This morning, the Kern County Board of Supervisors proclaimed October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month in Kern County. 💜🎗️

The District Attorney’s Kern County Family Justice Center was proud to stand alongside many of our dedicated community partners, whose collective efforts form a vital network of support for domestic violence survivors.

Through these strong partnerships, the Family Justice Center provides survivors and their families access to a wide range of services, all under one roof and at no cost.

Together, we stand united in raising awareness, supporting survivors, and working toward a safer future.
