🌿🏡 A little look inside Rooted Trails Children Services! 💚

Here are a few pictures of our center, where we host our after-school program and camps! We are so excited to continue creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where children can learn, grow, build friendships, and make lasting memories. 🥰

We are also working on an exciting next step! Upstairs, we are preparing our purposed 8-bed shelter care facility to provide children with a safe place to land when they need it most. ❤️

Furniture is being delivered and assembled today, and I can’t wait to share pictures of the upstairs once everything is complete!

What started as a vision to make a difference in the lives of children continues to grow into something truly special. Every step brings us closer to providing even more support, opportunities, and care to the children and families who need us.

We are just getting started, and we are so excited for what’s ahead!🌿☘️❤️

I honestly believe that kids will connect with you when you come down to their level, show them understanding, and meet them with patience instead of judgment. ❤️

I work with children who, on paper, are often considered kids who aren’t supposed to connect with anyone. But I see those connections happening every day, and it makes my heart so happy. 🥹

These kids may come across as tough, difficult, or even “bad.” They may put up walls, push people away, and test every limit because of what they’ve been through. But underneath that tough exterior is a child who deserves to be seen, heard, understood, and loved.

Sometimes, all it takes is giving them a chance, meeting them where they are, and allowing them to express themselves without fear of being judged.

They aren’t bad kids. They’re kids who may have been through more than most people will ever understand. When someone takes the time to look beyond the behaviors and see the child underneath, that’s when the magic happens. Give them a safe space to be themselves, and you might be amazed at the beautiful little souls who begin to shine through. ❤️🌱
