We want to send out a big thanks to Girls Build! 💜🏠

Over the summer, their campers built this playhouse and generously donated it to our shelter, Monika's House. Gifts like this bring joy, creativity, and a little extra magic to our space. We can't wait to see all the memories made and adventures imagined in the years to come!

As we begin to close out Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we're reflecting on our impact in 2026.

So far this year, DVRC has supported 1,485 survivors with 9,167 crisis services, and answered 4,452 calls on our crisis line. Behind every number is a survivor seeking safety and support. We are honored by the trust survivors place in our team as they navigate their journeys to healing.

💜 If you need support, reach out today. Advocates can be reached 24/7 on our crisis line at (503)469-8620.

You are not alone.

There is a brighter future on the other side of abuse and we can help you get there.

💜 Reach out for support 24/7 at (503)469-8620.

We were so glad to have Pacific University Optometry join us yesterday for another Survivor Service Day in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. They bring their team out every year to give free eye exams and a pair of glasses to survivors in need. We are so grateful for their partnership and the care they show to our community. 💜

Domestic violence is the leading cause of homelessness for women. At DVRC, we work to provide survivors with multiple options for housing to reduce the risk of homelessness and increase opportunities for safety.

Monika's House is Washington County's only high lethality emergency shelter. Survivors entering Monika's House are typically in active flee and are at high risk for serious physical injury or homicide. Stays are typically 30-90 days.

Mary Mac House is our transitional home for survivors working towards long-term stability and independence. Stays are typically up to 1 year.

Additional support for survivors is provided through crisis hotel accommodations through Safe Stays, emergency financial support to keep survivors housed in their own homes, and providing advocacy related to housing issues caused by domestic violence.

If you are in need of support, our crisis line is always available at (503)469-8620.
