🍎🎃 A Fun-Filled Fall Adventure at Reid’s Orchard! 🍂🍁

Our first graders enjoyed a wonderful field trip to Reid’s Orchard in Owensboro, KY! 🍎

Students had the opportunity to learn all about how apples and pumpkins are grown, harvested, and preserved! From the orchard to the finished product, our young learners discovered the hard work and care that goes into bringing these fall favorites to our tables! 🌳🎃

What a fantastic day of hands-on learning, exploration, and making sweet fall memories! ❤️🍏

☀️ Students in Mrs. Morgan’s Third Grade Class have been learning about Informational Text Features this week. Today, students had to work to “save their patients” with their knowledge of text features. Students enjoyed this engaging activity with the added experience of getting to use real medical PPE generously provided by Baptist Health.

Mrs. McDonald had students completely engaged as she presented the book “Creepy Underwear” using the Novel Effect system! The sounds and effects made the story even more fun and brought a little extra magic to reading! 💚📖
