As much as we enjoy a little candy....the wrappers sure can pile up. Please toss your wrappers into the trash!

Did you know that batteries are the leading cause of damaged equipment and fires for your local recycling center?

The chemical composition of these items and their tendency to cut conveyor belts can often result in several days where we cannot process any material due to fire or serious mechanical issues.

For disposal, please tape the ends of all batteries.
Alkaline batteries can then be thrown in your household trash.
Rechargable batteries can be brought inside the Solid Waste District, where we have proper receptacles that are flame proof.

Thank you for keeping our facility safe and operational!

We recently had a wonderful time helping around the county for Good Neighbor Day!

Our Bellefontaine team planted several trees in town for our people to enjoy, while our Belle Center team lent a helping hand to those in need!

A special thank you to Commissioner Antram, Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District, Logan County Master Gardeners, Linda Baker, and all of our volunteers!

We look forward to many more future opportunities to serve the public and help build a more sustainable future!
