Good Monday afternoon,
I would like to encourage voters to keep a weather eye out tomorrow morning and plan your voting day accordingly. My office has been given a weather update from the National Weather Service in Little Rock, and we do have at least a rainy morning tomorrow in store.
Overview:
A strong cold front is expected to track across the state Tuesday bringing unsettled weather. Strong or severe thunderstorms will be possible most of the day as the line pushes from west to east across the state. This may include damaging wind gusts, isolated tornados, and small hail.
On Tuesday (Election Day), the morning temps are expected to be in the upper 50s and 60s. The afternoon high temps are expected to warm into the upper 60s (NW) to lower 80s (SE). Rainfall could be heavy across portions of the state.
That was the "official" info. A Simulated Radar Timing sheet was also sent. It is estimating that the weather will roll through Carroll County at around 9AM, but looks to be mostly gone by noon - 3PM.
When I ask in informational ads whether you have an election plan, this would be why. Please stay safe, but, please get out there and vote. If I receive any updates, I will try to pass them along. - C
