📚✨ DOLLY PARTON DAY – SEPTEMBER 25! ✨📚

On Friday our school celebrated the incredible impact Dolly Parton has made on children’s literacy through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library! 💕📖

Our Sunshine Committee helped make the day extra special by delivering delicious snacks and treats to our staff! 🍪🍬 We are so thankful for their kindness and for the opportunity to celebrate someone who has helped put books into the hands of children and encouraged a love of reading.

Thank you, Dolly, for reminding us that a child with a book has the power to dream BIG! 🌟📚💗

🏆📚 ALL STARS READER NIGHT was a HUGE SUCCESS! 📚🏆

What an incredible night of family, reading, and fun at Big Island Elementary! We were so excited to welcome our Bulldog families for our very first Family Night, and it did not disappoint! ❤️💙

✨ 123 people attended!
📚 30 BIES students joined us!
🏅 17 Liberty High School student-athletes came out to encourage our students and make the night extra special!

From enjoying dinner and Kona Ice 🍧 to cheering on our readers, participating in Literacy Relays, hearing an encouraging message from Coach Brown, and celebrating with door prizes, our Bulldogs had an evening full of learning, laughter, and connection.

A HUGE thank-you to our amazing staff, Liberty High School student-athletes, Coach Brown, our families, and everyone who helped make this night possible. Most importantly, thank you to our students for showing up ready to READ, LEARN, and HAVE FUN! 📖⭐

This is exactly what being ALL IN looks like! 🏆🐾
