We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to set it up! As we head into the new school year, please remind your students to show respect for the cultural significance of the Tipi. This is our fourth year with this same Tipi, let’s work together to keep it going strong for many more to come!

A huge Thank You goes out to our wonderful Indigenous Education instructors: Ashley Good Luck, Clint Valandra, and Cheyenne Aldrich! We truly appreciate your time, dedication, and leadership.

We also want to give a special shout-out and extra thanks to Mrs. Boschert, Mr. Qualls, and Mr. Lybeck for helping coordinate and support this wonderful tradition for our school community!

What makes us different? Check this out!!!

Our Principles of Biomedical Science students at the Billings Career Center are deep into lab mode, analyzing critical blood evidence for the famous Anna Garcia case.

Moving from textbooks to hands-on forensic investigation, students are currently running:

• The Kastle-Meyer test to confirm the presence of blood
• ABO blood typing to narrow down potential suspects
• Blood spatter analysis to reconstruct the crime scene

Hopefully, this rigorous lab work gets them one step closer to concluding the case!

A huge shoutout to their amazing teacher, Abigail Terrasas, for creating such an immersive learning experience. Our future forensic scientists and medical professionals are on the case!
