🎃🏈 A beautiful day for the Unified Sports Spooky Bowl!

Indian Creek and Edison students came together Friday for a day full of teamwork, friendship, and Halloween fun! Several JVS students participated, and both teams had a blast playing together and cheering each other on. 🧡

We loved seeing the smiles, school spirit, and connections made on and off the field. A great day to celebrate inclusion and the joy of playing football together!

Little trick-or-treaters, big JVS spirit!

Our Early Childhood Education preschoolers celebrated Halloween with a trick-or-treat adventure throughout JVS! Each program welcomed them with decorations, candy, and plenty of smiles. 🍬

Animal Science greeted our little visitors with furry friends and sweet treats, while Welding showed off their creativity with ghosts and bats they made themselves! 🐾🦇

The whole school had a hand in making this celebration special. Thank you to our students and staff for creating a day filled with laughter, fun, and memories for our preschoolers—and everyone who joined in! 🧡🖤

Our Cosmetology Department were pleased to welcome Kelli Sarlo to the JVS to engage with our senior cosmetology students.

During her visit, students discussed and demonstrated the proper use of the e-file, emphasizing the importance of sanitation and safety standards within the nail industry. We are proud of our students for demonstrating their knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to industry best practices. 💅🏻

💡 Learning by doing and giving back to our community!

JVS students from Electrical, Auto Body, Power Mechanics, and Welding are teaming up to restore the Grand Theater's ceiling light fixtures in Steubenville. From cleaning and painting to rewiring, our students are putting their skills to work to help bring these fixtures back to life.

We’re proud of our students and grateful to their instructors for guiding this project. What a great way to gain hands-on experience, work together, and contribute to our community!

🚒🚑 Hands-On Training. Real-World Skills. Future First Responders!

Over the past several days, our Junior Fire/EMT students have taken their learning beyond the classroom and onto the grounds of the Wintersville Fire Department! Students had the opportunity to practice driving both an ambulance and a fire truck, developing their maneuverability skills and navigating a variety of obstacle courses.

Experiences like these allow our students to build confidence, sharpen their skills, and gain valuable hands-on experience as they prepare for careers in emergency services.

At JVS, we’re preparing today’s students to become tomorrow’s first responders! 🚨
