Join us for a discussion with Stephen Graham Jones, author of 'The Buffalo Hunter Hunter' 2026 One Book Pick for Adults!

This year's One Book pick for adults, "The Buffalo Hunter Hunter," is a perfect book for spooky season. Once you've finished it, you'll want to talk all about it — and who'd be better to discuss it with than the author himself?

This chilling historical horror novel traces the life of a vampire who haunts the fields of the Blackfeet reservation, seeking justice. When a diary, written in 1912 by a Lutheran pastor is discovered within a wall. What it unveils is a slow massacre, a chain of events that go back to 217 Blackfeet dead in the snow. Told in transcribed interviews by a Blackfeet named Good Stab, who shares the narrative of his peculiar life over a series of confessional visits. This is an American Indian revenge story written by one of the new masters of horror, Stephen Graham Jones.

Author Stephen Graham Jones will be joining us to talk about his historical horror novel, "The Buffalo Hunter Hunter." Join us for a moderated discussion with Jones followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
