The CARE Basket Committee, for the holiday season, is collecting household supplies that cannot be purchased with SNAP benefits. Needed items include: toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, bar soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Donations can be dropped off at the CMCA office, 345 W. Ashley Road, Boonville until Nov. 23 or at the Cooper County Fairgrounds on Nov. 23.

Monetary donations may be sent to: Pilot Grove C-4, CARE Baskets, 107 School St., Pilot Grove, Mo. 65276.

Referrals to receive baskets are being accepted until Friday, Nov. 13. Referrals may be made through this link: forms.gle/zsYBtepvvMAETKhz9.

Volunteers are also needed to assemble and deliver the baskets. Please report to the fairgrounds at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2 if you can help in this way.
