Happy November 1st! Our monthly youth recommendations are...
-"The Ribbon Skirt" by Cameron Mukwa (children/middle grade). This joyful graphic novel follows a young Indigenous kid crafting a ribbon skirt for an upcoming powwow!
-"Godly Heathens" by H.E. Edgmon (teen). A Seminole high schooler discovers not only that a pantheon of gods exists, but also that they're a reincarnated deity themself.
