The Friends of the Lakewood Ranch Library enrich the community by fundraising and supporting the LWR Library's resources.

Join us in our mission to foster education, community engagement, and access to knowledge for all. The mission of the Friends of the Lakewood Ranch Library is to support the library and sustain its work for the continued enrichment of the people of Manatee County. This is accomplished by educating the community, advocating to support the efforts of the Manatee County Public Library, and providing funding for the library through public and private sources.

AI Workshop: Image Generation (Thursday 6/25 6:00-7:30pm)

Happiness Workshop (Wednesday 6/24 4:30-5:30 pm)

What are the keys to happiness? It's something we all seek, yet few are ever taught to build. Nevriye Yesil holds a master's degree in Happiness Studies, an interdisciplinary field grounded in psychology, neuroscience, and literature. Nevriye will lead this introductory workshop on the science of happiness, designed to inspire, educate, and share practical tools for living a more joyful life.

An experienced senior living executive, presenter Jean Kramer is a former Independent Living and Assisted Living Administrator and Licensed Florida Nursing Home Administrator. With an MSW from University of Toronto and MBA from University of Ottawa, Canada, she has dedicated her career to helping seniors and their families navigate senior living options.
