Bayshore celebrated our amazing staff this week! Thank you to our front office staff for working so hard to ensure that our staff received their treats. I hope our staff felt even more special than they already are.

Monday- Wawa Hoagies
Tuesday- 7 Brew coffee and tea refreshers(Thank you 7 Brew for donating it for us!)
Wednesday- Olive Garden- Pasta, soup, salad and breadsticks never go wrong!
Thursday- Ice cream and sweet treats
Friday- Five Star Pizza, chips, and cookies donated by Bayside Community Church 26th Street.

Also Friday- raffles and thank you cups!

Thank you to Bayside Community Church for providing and serving a delicious pizza lunch to our deserving staff during Staff Appreciation Week!

Its that time of year, Mrs. Hale, our wonderful art teacher is selling yearbooks Friday morning in the lobby/foyer of our school. We have a limited supply of soft cover books for 25 dollars, and hard cover books for 30 dollars available for purchase. After Friday we we will have them in the front office for students to purchase until we run out. Happy Wednesday!

Bayshore Elementary is holding an end of the year Family Cookout on May 27th from 2:30-4:00. We hope you will join us to provide some input and to collect some summer learning for your children. Please click the link to RSVP for the event to help us properly prepare.

Bayshore Elementary is celebrating staff appreciation week this week. Please take the time to give a special thanks to all of our staff members that support our students each day. We are thankful for our amazing staff and would not be successful without them supporting student learning and growth.

Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser Prize updates!

Cupcakes given out today to the following teachers classes;

Mrs. Hammer, Mrs. Sibbio, Mrs. Pugh, Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Mann, Mrs. Brown, and Mrs. Restrepo.

Pizza party for Mrs. Lutus's class

Mojis were given to students on Monday and Tuesday that raised 15 dollars or more.
4/22- Donuts were given out to the students that raised 75 dollars or more
4/24-Tomorrow- Catered Lunch on stage for all the students that raised 300 dollars!
4/27-Monday- Glow party in the afternoon for all the students that raised 150 dollars or more!
4/29- Wednesday- Ice cream Sundaes in the afternoon for all the students that raised 200 dollars or more!
5/1- Friday- Field trip to the Bowling Alley for the top 20 earners from the fundraiser!

Tuesday April 14th Bayshore Walk-A-Thon update! We have raised 18,114 dollars and have more business partners bringing in checks tomorrow! Our Walk-A-Thon will take place this Friday at school! We appreciate Aim Asphalt LLC, Bare Esthetics, Tropic Air Conditioning, Rapid Re-Pipe Plumbing Solutions, Michaels, and Joey D's Pizza for supporting us!

We added three states from the 50 day challenge today! We have received donations from 21 states now. For every state we receive a donation from going forward we will buy a new playground ball for student to use at recess.

Classes in the top five are,

Mrs. Robertson- 2080
Mrs. Lutus- 1640
Mrs. Hammer- 944
Mrs. Restrepo- 905
Mrs. Mann- 759

Mrs. Lutus's class and Mrs. Robertsons class will receive their cupcakes on tomorrow! Who is going to get cupcakes next? Will Mrs. Lutus's class earn the pizza too?

Our top 20 is still competitive! Our top earner has raised 1820 dollars! Our 20th place up to 280 dollars with just a few students hanging on the bottom at just under 300 dollars raised. .Who will slide in at the finish line to earn the field trip? As a reminder, out trip will include bowling, arcade time, drinks , and food during a school day.

We are STILL sitting at 18 percent registered for our school for our fundraiser. Can we get a few more students registered to get up to the 20 percent? I need to get some exercise in by racing our students on the playground.

Walk-A-Thon update- Total funds raised 11,677 dollars!!! The surprise field trip is to the Bowling Alley! Students will have rounds of bowling, arcade time, as well as pizza, snacks, and drinks!! The top 20 is changing on a daily basis! Right now the top student, including their in person donation combined with their online donations, has raised $1800! The bottom of the top 20 has students hovering in the 180 dollar range.

We are still sitting at 11 percent of our students registered and I have not been able to break out my running shoes yet! I will lower the goal to 20 percent registered so that I can race all the grades in a foot race!

We are still thankful to Tropic Air Conditioning, AIM Asphalt LLC, and now Bare Esthetics as business partners! We look forward to putting their signs up!

Mrs. Robertsons class is still in the lead and will have their pizza party this Friday, the $2000 popcorn party on Monday, and their cupcakes on Wednesday 4/15!!

4th place-Mrs. Ebys class-$575
5th place- Mrs. Wroblewski- $560

Please register your students and, as a reminder, every student that has raised 30 dollars by today will get a popsicle on Friday(Also the Walk-A-Thon Shirt)! We are currently at 70 students that will receive their popsicle tomorrow!

There have been some donations that have come to the school site instead of individual students based on the original school donation link. Please remind donors to give through the child's link. I sent an email today to multiple donors asking them to let me know what child should have received the donation so that I can ensure all kids get the correct prizes as well as all classes earning the correct prizes. As always if you have any questions or concerns please let me know.

Bayshore kicked off our “It’s Go Time” this morning. We have practiced, we have prepared, and we are primed for success! We are celebrating our staff and students dedication, growth, and preparation heading towards PM3.

Wednesday we will have music at lunch for all students and a Rock, Paper, Scissor challenge for our staff.

Friday is a sports themed dress down day for our staff and students!!!
