đź’™ A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY PARTNERS! đź’™

The Green Oak Township Police Department and Green Oak Township Peer Support Team would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible businesses and individuals who generously donated their time, knowledge, and skills to make our Officer Wellness Day a success!

This day was dedicated to the mental and physical well-being of our first responders—the people who spend so much of their time taking care of others. Thanks to your generosity, our responders had the opportunity to focus on themselves, learn valuable information, and invest in their own health and future.

Throughout the day, our first responders enjoyed massage therapy, assisted stretching, education on proper and healthier nutrition choices, guidance on retirement options, mental health resources, and information on planning for the future to help ensure their families are taken care of.

And, of course, no wellness day is complete without great food! A special thank-you to Country Acres Market for generously donating sandwiches to keep everyone well-fed. You never disappoint! 🥪❤️

Please join us in thanking these wonderful supporters:

CRYPTOCURRENCY SCAM PREVENTION and AWARENESS

Scammers use fake investment opportunities, phishing emails, bogus trading platforms, social media schemes, romance scams, and even fake celebrity endorsements to steal your money. Be skeptical of anyone promising quick or guaranteed returns, pressuring you to act immediately, or asking for your password, private key, or seed phrase. Never share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone, verify websites and apps before using them, double check cryptocurrency addresses before sending funds, and stick with trusted, well-known platforms. If you think you’ve been scammed, stop communicating with the scammer, save all evidence including screenshots, emails, messages, transaction information, website links and report the incident to your local law enforcement agency and the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) at www.ic3.gov.

Remember: BE ALERT. BE INFORMED. BE SKEPTICAL. PROTECT YOURSELF. When in doubt, don’t send it out.
