Dear Residents

November greetings! As we look around our wonderful borough, I am filled with immense pride for everything we have accomplished together. Brooklawn has always been a community defined by its heart, its resilience, and its deep connection to one another.

We have made incredible strides in improving our infrastructure, supporting our local businesses, and strengthening the community bonds that make our town feel like home. Every positive change we see today is a direct result of your dedication, your passion, and your hard work.

My motto has always been: don't tell me what we can't do, just help me and tell me what we can. That's my purpose as your mayor. When we focus on our possibilities instead of our limitations, we open the door to real, lasting progress.
Guided by that "can-do" spirit, we must continue to look ahead with excitement and optimism.

We have wonderful opportunities to gather and prove exactly what we can achieve when we work together, starting with Bark Fest on Saturday, November 7 at Legion Field. Looking further into the season, we also have a fantastic lineup of holiday events planned throughout December to bring us all together in a spirit of joy and unity.

The future of Brooklawn is bright because we choose to focus on what is possible. By continuing to work hand-in-hand and focusing on what we can do, there is no limit to what we can achieve. Let us carry this positive momentum forward into tomorrow, building an even stronger, safer, and more vibrant community for generations to come.
Thank you for making Brooklawn such a special place to live.

Warmest regards,
Mayor Jerry "Skip" Granstrom
