This June, New York moves to the rhythm of the Caribbean. We honor the generations whose traditions, talent, and resilience helped shape the city we call home. Caribbean American Heritage Month celebrates the icons who transformed our culture, from Harry Belafonte and Grace Jones to Patrick Ewing and Shirley Chisholm.

Let’s celebrate the people who turned New York into the vibrant mosaic we love.

Today is National Senior Fraud Awareness Day, and we’re focusing on phone scams. Scammers may use local numbers, urgent messages, or offers that sound too good to be true to catch your attention. Remember, legitimate organizations won’t ask for personal information or money over the phone. If something feels off, hang up, block the caller, and don’t engage.
