Please be aware of what is going on around you and please always stay alert ⚠️.

For our station in particular, we do not have drive thru bays. We have to back our apparatus up into the engine room and we activate our emergency lights when backing in. Please, please do not try to squeeze in around us by going behind the apparatus and please wait for us to get on the apron in the front before passing in front of us. Sometimes we need to adjust the position of the truck and this requires us to pull back into the street.

Thank you!!

SLOW DOWN & MOVE OVER! 🚨

The Burlington Township Fire Department reminds everyone to please SLOW DOWN and MOVE OVER when approaching emergency vehicles with flashing lights.

If you see emergency lights ahead:
• SLOW DOWN and be prepared to stop.
• MOVE OVER to another lane when it is safe to do so.
• If you cannot move over safely, slow down and proceed with extreme caution.
• Stay alert and give emergency personnel the space they need to do their jobs safely.

Remember, when our firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement officers, tow truck drivers and construction crews are working on the roadway, they are putting themselves at risk to help others. A few seconds of caution can make the difference between everyone getting home safely and a preventable tragedy.

Please protect those who protect you!

Let’s work together to keep our first responders, our community, and everyone on the road safe. Your cooperation matters!

SLOW DOWN. MOVE OVER. SAVE LIVES.

It was so great to see such a big turnout from the community!! Thank you!!

Duty Crew Tuesday!!

Tonight your Station 303 Volunteers completed our weekly drill which was drafting operations from a static source. The crew completed some driver training and then went over to Independent Fire Company No. 1 to practice drafting from the porta-pond.

The pond holds 3500 gallons of water and crews practiced using hard suction to supply a discharge (hoseline) off the truck.

We are fortunate in Township to have hydrants but we do encounter the need for drafting in surrounding communities that do not so it's imperative the crews are familiar with the process !

Tonight's duty crew also included members from BeverlyRoad FireCompany !!

Come visit us in a Tuesday to join... you know you want to and we would love to speak with you!

Stay safe everyone!

🚒 An elevator rescue with a photo op ending! 🐾

We responded to a call for a gentleman and his pup stuck in an elevator. Thankfully, we were able to get them out safely with an assist from our local friendly police officer !

After the rescue, we had the chance to grab a photo together. It was great meeting you and your four-legged sidekick — just wish it had been under different circumstances! 😂🐶

Glad everyone is safe and back on solid ground!
