Steel is going up on our new fire station located at 5535 S. NC 62 Hwy.

Here are the funeral arrangements for fallen firefighter Andrew Brokes.

Our beloved firefighter, son, and brother, Andrew Brokes, will be put to rest this upcoming weekend at his hometown in Burlington, NC.

The family will be holding a visitation on Friday, October 16 beginning at 4PM at the Lamb’s Chapel. The funeral service will be held the following day at 4PM.

The public is welcome to join as we remember the life of one of Durham’s Bravest.

The E.M. Holt Fire Dept. Is saddened to learn about the loss of a Durham firefighter. Please join us in praying for the Durham Fire department and the friends and families affected by this loss.

Flags will be flown at half staff in honor of this firefighters ultimate sacrifice.

🧸 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 by donating new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls in need. Donation boxes are located throughout the county at the following fire departments:

Today, we took a few moments to remember the lives that were lost on this day 25 years ago.

The small flags placed in our front lawn represent the 343 FDNY firefighters that made the ultimate sacrifice. Those flags not only represent the firefighter themselves, they represent their families, their firehouse, and their friendships.

We will never forget. God bless the USA. 🇺🇸

What do fire trucks and an Alamance cannon have in common?

Alamance Battleground is thrilled to welcome E.M. Holt Fire Department Station 9 as our newest neighbor! Construction on their state-of-the-art facility will begin soon, and we’re especially excited that the department has already adopted the Regulators as its mascot.

We look forward to having them next door and building a great relationship with our new neighbors. Stay tuned for updates as construction gets underway!

The E.M. Holt Fire department will be conducting a training event this evening in the 3700-blk of Dr. Pickett Rd.

The car on its side is apart of this training exercise. Do not be alarmed if you are in the neighborhood.
