WELCOME BACK, SGT ARTHUR SMITH
It is my pleasure to welcome Sgt Arthur Smith BACK to the Camden Police Department! For those of you who may not know, Sgt Smith began his law enforcement career right here in Camden 22 years ago as a reserve officer. Throughout his career Sgt Smith has held various supervisory and leadership positions, most recently serving as Captain of the Knox County Sheriff's Office. Sgt Smith is a certified instructor in numerous law enforcement specialties, as well as a certified field training officer. His extensive knowledge, experience and expertise will be valuable assets to the Town of Camden, Maine, the Camden Police Department, and most importantly, the officers he will lead and mentor. As Chief I am honored to welcome Sgt Smith back to the department where his career began. I have no doubt that his leadership, professionalism, and dedication to law enforcement will have a lasting positive impact on our department and the community we serve!
