CCPAAA Yard Sale – Saturday, 5/2– 9 am to 1 pm – 2400 N. Josey Ln. The sale is at the Founders Classical Academy north parking lot, across from Newman Smith High School. We expect more than before; power and hand tools, gardening equipment, household goods, camping equipment, exercise equipment, decorative items, lots of bikes and more. Today the Citizens On Patrol are taking to the trails… thank you for the pictures.

Update:… Adding Mauricio to the people there for 10 hours today!! You three were amazing !!

This is something a lot of people may not know about our group. A select number of Citizens on Patrol members do what are called “call outs”. At 1:30 AM after the accident was cleared, Russell & Irby got a call to help with traffic control until the poles and lines can be fixed. They texted that they had just finished the clean up and are headed back to the PD at 11:15 AM. They were there for about 10 hours which cleared most of our officers to go back on their beats. This is all volunteer work! You guys are amazing! I only know of the two that were there today, but we have several members that do these. Thank you for the pictures Russell.

A few volunteers helping out at TexFest. There were more, but we had another event and couldn’t make it back.

More graffiti abatement by our amazing volunteers and they helped with the Unidos meeting tonight. Our volunteers are the BEST!!!

Our volunteers have been busy out on the trails and around Carrollton. They have been doing graffiti abatement, enjoying beautiful Carrollton views, and hula hooping at Wal Mart?! Of course after all their hard work they had Pokie Bowl for lunch/dinner!!

Our volunteers do everything… including serving at retirements. And yes, that is Council member Nancy Cline helping to serve as she is a member of CCPAAA!!

Russell took some pictures when he went out today in his 4x4 to go take care of our police & make sure their water & coffee was set up for the day. The roads are bad!!!!! Stay home if you can & stay warm and safe.
