Yesterday (10/30), I worked on assigning the parts for "Christmas in Any Language" (the CES Choir Christmas program on Friday, December 3rd) while kids sang & danced to Halloween songs!!

The students listed are the small groups that will meet on the date above their name (instead of the whole choir on those days). The students that are not listed have a part on a song that doesn’t have any choreography to learn. Everyone has a special part on a song!

I also added the calendar for November & the first week of December.

Remember, we will ALL (4th AND 5th grades) rehearse together this coming Tuesday, November 3rd!!

On Tuesday (11/3), I hope to have their notes ready to pass out with what part they are doing & what 'costume' they will need to wear for their program in December.

Also, how are we already in our 2nd quarter of school and in the last 2 months of 2026?!?

Today, students 2nd-5th grades who met their AR goals for 1st qtr were treated to ice cream! 🍦🍦🍦

Last week, CES students had fun participating in Minute-to-Win-It games in the multipurpose room! 🎉

These fun activities were a reward for earning the Behavior Award. Way to go, CES students! Keep up the great work! ❤️

Staff members received positive choice coupons and entered students’ names into a drawing whenever they caught them making positive choices.

Our first annual CES Trunk or Treat was a huge success! What a special day at Caruthersville Elementary! Our Trunk or Treat was full of smiles, costumes, candy, and so much fun! We loved seeing our students get to enjoy this experience, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the huge amount of support we received from our community.

We are beyond thankful for the businesses, churches, organizations, individuals, and groups who took time out of their day to come set up, pass out candy, and make this event special for our students!
