The Charleston Christian School partners with Christian families and their churches to teach knowledge, wisdom, and values from a Christian perspective.

Throughout the course of the day, students are encouraged to think, wonder, and reflect. We believe that all truth comes from God, and students here discover God's world and Word. Students are encouraged to think critically and examine ideas in literature, science, and and culture. Is it noble? Is it beautiful? Is it true? As students ponder these questions, teachers point them to the Creator.

Congratulations to our CCS volleyball teams on a great season! Our girls volleyball team earned 2nd place in their division and finished as runners-up in the championship tournament!

Our boys took 3rd place in their division and also competed in the tournament games.

We are proud of both teams for their hard work, teamwork, and determination throughout the season. Way to go, Lions! 💙

Our K5 students headed to Folly Beach for a day of exploring the creatures and ecosystems hiding along our local shoreline. Students learned about the food web, searched for beach animals using shovels and strainers, and got to observe their discoveries up close before releasing them back into their natural habitat. There was plenty of digging, discovering, and sandy fun along the way!

🏆 Our Lower School Quiz Bowl Team competed in the SCISA Quiz Bowl Tournament last week!

We’re proud of our students for representing Charleston Christian School and putting their knowledge, teamwork, and quick thinking to the test!

Who has helped shape the Christian faith throughout history? Our middle school Bible students explored that question through their theologian plate projects! Students created face plates featuring figures such as Martin Luther, Tertullian, C.S. Lewis, Tim Keller, and George Whitefield, then shared a short presentation about their theologian’s life and contributions to the faith.

We love seeing our students explore the people and ideas that have shaped Christian history!

Our 3rd graders had a special visit from the Charleston Fire Department!

Students learned important fire safety tips to help keep themselves safe at school and at home. The firefighters also showed them some of their equipment, and one lucky student even got to try on a firefighter’s suit!

We’re thankful to the Charleston Fire Department for taking the time to teach our students valuable safety lessons they can share with their families, too!
