Throwback time! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We’re looking back on the Stallings Sprint, Stride, or Stroll—what a great day of community, movement, and fun! From the starting line energy to the finish line smiles, this event brought out the very best of Stallings.

Whether you sprinted for a PR, strolled with friends, or took it all in at your own pace, we loved seeing everyone out there enjoying the day together. 💙

We’ll be sharing some favorite moments from the race, and we hope these photos bring back some great memories (and maybe inspire you for the next one!).

Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a success—we can’t wait to do it again! 🏅

🚧 Splash Pad Update 🚧

Due to recent rain delays impacting the construction schedule, the Stallings Splash Pad is still CLOSED.

These upgrades are an important investment in the safety and experience of our community. Before reopening, the project must be fully completed and successfully pass all required permitting and safety inspections.

As soon as construction is complete and we receive final approval, we will announce an official opening date for everyone to enjoy the new Splash Pad!

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to provide a safe, fun, and high-quality facility for our residents and visitors. 💦

Happy Saturday, Stallings!☀️ Even if the holiday weekend forecast is bringing a little extra rain ☔, it’s actually something our community and local parks truly need right now. 💚

That rain helps keep our parks green, our trees healthy, and our creeks and waterways flowing strong for everyone to enjoy. Every shower helps support the natural beauty that makes Stallings such a wonderful place to walk, run, play, and spend time together as a community. 🌳🌦️

So while the sunshine may take a short break this weekend, we hope you still find time to slow down, relax, enjoy family and friends, and appreciate all the good the rain brings along with it. 🙌

Have a safe and happy holiday weekend, Stallings — we’ll see you at the park soon! ❤️🤍💙

As we wrap up National Public Works Week, we want to take a minute to recognize and thank our Public Works crew for everything they do for Parks & Recreation and the Town of Stallings! 🚧💙

A lot of what they do happens behind the scenes, but our department wouldn’t be able to do half of what we do without their help and support.

From responding to water leaks and helping with maintenance projects to setting up for events and even helping us build marshmallow towers during programs, they’re always willing to jump in wherever needed. No matter the task, they show up ready to help and always make it a little more fun along the way.

We truly appreciate all the hard work, teamwork, and dedication they put in every single day to help keep our community running smoothly. Thank you guys for all you do! 👏💪

In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed on Monday, May 25th as we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. ❤️🤍💙

Our parks and greenways will remain OPEN throughout the holiday weekend! 🌳☀️ Whether you’re enjoying a family picnic, getting some fresh air between rain showers, or taking a peaceful stroll, we hope you find time to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.✨

One of the best things about living in Stallings is having beautiful parks and green spaces to enjoy year-round 🌳☀️

There’s something refreshing about taking time to get outside, enjoy the sunshine, and slow down for a little while. Whether it’s walking the trails, relaxing on a bench, spending time with family, or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, our local parks offer the perfect escape from the busy pace of everyday life.

It’s the little moments that make these places special — the fresh air, the sounds of nature, the sunsets, and the chance to reconnect with the community around us. Parks give us space to recharge, make memories, and appreciate everything that makes Stallings feel like home. 💚

If you haven’t visited one lately, this is your sign to take a little time for yourself and enjoy the outdoors.
