We knew this summer that our adaptive track chair would be leaving our park in the fall to go to another NYS park and we’ve been feeling pretty sad ☹️. BUT, ….yesterday we took possession of our own new track chair!! We welcomed Blue Blaze to CVSP and got trained on its new features. A local benefactor who had been out a few times in our original chair funded our wish and we will be forever grateful 💕. Blue Blaze is waiting to take you out on an adventure in the park! Call the office to reserve a time. 607-648-5251.

Tuesday was an awesome filled day with SOAR Experiences and three adaptive chair outings in the park. Maine-Endwell brought 12 students from their unified PE class and Carly was able to enjoy the group autumn hike in the parks chair. SUNY Binghamton clinicians joined the morning hike to learn about the program and help as chair attendant controllers. And the afternoon guests were able to compete in a
challenging obstacle course after their hike.

We won't have any river trips this weekend because Tom is up at Paul Smith's Battlefish Academy enhancing his guiding skill set. The boathouse will be open, though. The fall leaves are starting to change, so it's a beautiful time to get on the water or take a bike ride in the park.
