🍂 **NOVEMBER AT CLARA BARTON** 🍂

November's calendar has arrived, and apparently, so has our school's inability to sit still.

We've got donuts, skating, stargazing, days off, and early dismissals. At this point, actual school is more of a suggestion.

Please plan accordingly. Or don't. We do enjoy the emails asking if there's school tomorrow.

🦅 Happy November. We're all just trying to make it to Thanksgiving.

Good morning, Barton families!

Despite some confusion, there is, in fact, school today.

The calendar has spoken. The children are expected. The coffee is necessary.

We apologize to anyone who had already mentally committed to a three-day weekend.

Happy Friday! ☕️

🛼 I'd normally come up with something clever here, but I'm tired, it's October, and my last functioning brain cell has requested PTO.

Anyway. FAMILY SKATE NIGHT.

📅 November 12 | 6–8:30 PM
📍 Hot Wheelz, Cherry Hill
💰 $8 admission | $6 skate rentals

Come support the PTA and watch your children discover that gravity is, in fact, undefeated.

**Not a drop-off event.** We checked. We were disappointed, too.

📸 **PICTURE DAY IS THIS THURSDAY!** 📸

Thursday, October 22, is Clara Barton Picture Day!

Time to pick out an outfit, negotiate with a hairbrush, and remind your child that the photographer is asking for a smile, not a full dental examination. 🦷

Will they look adorable? Probably. Will they make the most unsettling facial expression you've ever seen? Also possible.

📸 **Want photographic evidence of this stage of childhood?** Preorder your pictures online using the link in the comments!

May the collars lie flat, the hair stay put, and the smiles resemble actual human expressions. 🤞

🦅 **BAD AT FOOTBALL? GREAT AT GAMBLING ON FOOTBALL?**

Same. 💚

The Clara Barton PTA Eagles Block Pool is officially OPEN!

💵 $10 a square
🏆 4 chances to win $125
💰 $500 total payout!

Support the PTA. Win some cash. Pretend you understand the Eagles' play-calling.

👇 **LINK TO BUY YOUR SQUARES IS IN THE COMMENTS!**

First come, first served. Unlike the Eagles, we actually have a game plan.

**GO BIRDS. 🦅🏈**

Friday night. We’re going out.
To the elementary school.
With our children.
So… not out out.
But there’s pizza. 🍕🎬
Preorders due TODAY.
$15 for a large cheese pizza.
No preorder? Slices will be available because we plan for people like us.
No cooking. No dishes. Low expectations.
See you Friday.

🍕 COOK DINNER IF YOU WANT. WE’RE NOT YOUR SUPERVISOR.
But there will be $15 pizzas waiting at Movie Night, so this feels like a strange hill to die on.
Preorder. Arrive. Feed children. Feel wildly accomplished.
Look at you. Absolutely crushing Friday.
And if the form didn’t come home today, check tomorrow.
Yes, we also find the backpack-based communication system terrifying.
