Author Les Brown once said, “No one rises to low expectations.” This is no secret in the world of education. Most practitioners discover early in their careers that learners rise to high expectations. This is due in part to the fact that holding high expectations for students communicates confidence in their abilities to succeed. Telling students, “You can meet these expectations through hard work,” promotes self-efficacy in the task at hand.

Happy Second PIC Anniversary, Crystal!

Crystal is the one who controls our page, which means occasionally you have to post about yourself. I saw that she did schedule her own anniversary post today, but in typical humble Crystal fashion, she left out all the bragging! So as our Executive Director, Krystyne here, stepping in to add some extra love and appreciation!

If you have ever found a helpful resource here or on our website, enjoyed our posts, or felt supported by our online community, Crystal is the person behind that work.

She also works tirelessly behind the scenes every day to support Wyoming families, empower parents, and keep our team running smoothly. Her compassion and dedication make a huge difference across our state.

Crystal, you might not boast about yourself, but we definitely will. Thank you for two wonderful years of heart, care, and hard work. We are so grateful to have you on the PIC team! đź’™

Please join us in the comments in wishing Crystal a very happy 2nd anniversary!
