This week, the Chicago Fire Department is celebrating our annual EMS Week, recognizing the dedicated EMS and Fire personnel who make a difference every day through their service and commitment to the people of Chicago.

Today, several members were honored with awards and recognition from the department for their outstanding efforts while carrying out their duties. Some of the families whose lives were impacted by their actions were also in attendance to personally express their gratitude and appreciation.

Congratulations to all of this year’s award recipients. Thank you for your continued dedication, compassion, and service to our communities. Keep making a difference.
