At Elastic Arts this Wednesday at 7pm! RSVP Required!

Interested in learning more about DSA, democratic socialism, and our political vision? This 90 minute event will provide a brief overview of DSA and a longer discussion of our political program, Workers Deserve More. There will also be time for some light Q+A with a Chicago DSA chapter leader.

Our political program is both an analysis of the world we find ourselves in living today in 2025 and the vision we have a better world in the future, one that provides for thriving working class communities, a worker centered economy, a truly democratic political system, and a foreign policy rooted in international working class solidarity.

There will be time included in the event for all attendees to be able to read the program, so reading it advanced is not required to attend.

This is a great event for new DSA members, non-members interested in learning more about DSA, and anyone else who wants to learn more about DSA's political vision.

The CDSA Political Education committee is kicking off a series of trainings on the topic of How to Talk About Socialism with Non-Socialists. Each session will cover situations in which you might find yourself discussing socialism with non-socialists. These sessions will equip you with tactics to navigate conversations where you have the opportunity to educate others on socialism and diffuse potential negativity.

The May 13th session will focus on talking about socialism with non-socialists in the context of canvassing.
