The program’s objectives are to offer group education and counseling to help people who have abused change their abusive behaviors and to promote safety for the victims of domestic violence. If you haven't already donated, please do so today.
We are reaching out to our closest friends today because the Center for Advancing Domestic Peace faces a serious threat to our mission. Due to government cutbacks, we recently learned that a major funding contract will not be renewed.
This loss of funding will decrease our total annual budget by approximately 12 percent. This funding has ensured that low-income, unemployed, and homeless participants could access our services. Unless we can make up for this significant decrease in funding, we may be forced to reduce staff and limit services at a time when more people than ever are seeking our help.
We are determined not to turn anyone away. But we need your help to continue our work.
