A final American Archives Month find from our Hamilton County Clerk of Courts’ historic archives. This is a filing known as an "Assignment of Judgment" was written on Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office stationery, in 1897.

Beyond the judgment itself, archives like this one can give us a snapshot of life. Back when this was filed, it was apparently custom to write out the names of all the office employees on their stationary, at this time only a total of seven!
