Happy Safe Halloween from our amazing crew at the Sr Center. Thank you to all our seniors who dressed up yesterday. They were treated to a free lunch. I hear the director handed out candy to everyone 🤭. If you’re 50 and over you should really be hanging out with us.

Sometimes things our completely out of our control. So, if I put something on the menu, like bacon wrapped chopped sirloin. And you get 36 instead of the 252 you ordered. But the grocery company cannot get the amount needed to us, that requires a menu change. So Monday October 26th there will be several options, bacon wrapped chopped sirloin (lucky 36), chicken fried steak, chicken strips, pork fritter or Salisbury steak. Remember you do not get a choice but it will be one of the above. With mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed broccoli, garden salad, and chocolate iced brownie. Thank you for understanding.

We were blessed with the generous donation of eight quarts of pecans, and we’ve turned them into some wonderful baking baskets for the holidays. Each basket contains an enough ingredients to make a double batch of delicious treats baskets are: PECAN PIE, ALABAMA PECAN BREAD, BROWN SUGAR PECANS AND FANTASY FUDGE. Each basket is valued between $50 and $65. All proceeds go to support our lunch program. Tickets are on sale this week only October 5 through October 9, 2026. Drawing will be held Friday, October 9 at 12 o’clock. Tickets must be purchased at the Center. You do not need to be present to win. Winners will be contacted and can pick up their basket at the center. Thank you for supporting our lunch program and helping us make a difference in our community. Eggs and butter not included. Tickets are $1 each
