DRIVE SOBER, ARRIVE SAFE

Driving under the influence puts everyone on the road at risk. Clarkdale Police Department reminds motorists to make responsible choices and never get behind the wheel while impaired.

If you plan to drink, plan ahead. Designate a sober driver, use a rideshare service or arrange a safe ride home. Transportation options in the area include Uber, Lyft, CK Taxi Services, King Taxi, AA Taxi, and Night Rider.

One decision can change a life. Make the right choice. Don’t drink and drive.
Let’s work together to keep our community and roadways safe.

WOMEN IN LAW ENFORCEMENT LUNCHEON

On Oct. 7, the Clarkdale Police Department hosted the 8th annual Celebrating Women in Yavapai County Law Enforcement luncheon to recognize the outstanding women who serve our communities.

Thank you to all the law enforcement agencies and guests who joined us for this special event. Congratulations to this year’s award winners and nominees! Your dedication, leadership and service make a lasting difference in our communities, and we are proud to celebrate you.

A special thank you to Motorola Solutions for its generous sponsorship, as well as Fink’s Custom Guns and Pink Jeep Adventures for their support.
We also extend a huge thank you to the many local businesses and organizations that donated items for our raffle. Your generosity helped make this event more memorable!

This luncheon would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors, donors, and participating agencies. Thank you for helping us celebrate the women who make a difference in law enforcement every day!

PARKING REMINDER

The Clarkdale Police Department has received an increase in complaints about vehicles parked on the wrong side of the road.

Arizona law, ARS 28-874 (A), requires vehicles parked on roadways with adjacent curbs to be parked with the right-hand wheels parallel to and within 18 inches of the right-hand curb.

Officers will continue issuing warnings through the end of September. Beginning in October, violations may result in a citation.

Please help us keep Clarkdale’s streets safe and accessible by parking legally and being respectful of our neighbors.

Thank you for helping us keep Clarkdale safe!

Happy National Police Woman Day!

Today, we recognize and celebrate all women in law enforcement for their strength, courage, dedication, and service to their communities.

A special thank you to Officer Jakii Montijo and Officer Lori Carver for all they do to serve and protect the Clarkdale community. We are proud to have you both!

We may be serious about serving our communities, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have a little fun along the way!
Camp Verde Marshal Jacobs, Verde Valley Fire Chief Johnson, and Clarkdale Police Chief Taylor put their dad-joke skills to the test. Let’s just say… we’ll stick to public safety.
All jokes aside, we’re proud to work alongside our neighboring agencies and build strong partnerships within our communities. When we work together, we’re better able to serve the people who count on us.
Who do you think won?
