Wyoming Services for Independent Living is a registered non-profit human services agency established to help individuals with a disability to live as independently as possible in the community of his or her choice. WSIL is a Consumer Controlled Agency; The majority of our staff and board members have personal experience with a disability. Independent Living Centers also serve advocates on a wide range of national, state and local issues. We work to ensure access to all aspects of life, such as: housing, employment, transportation, recreational, health care, and social opportunities. Independent Living Centers are typically non-residential, private, non-profit, consumer-controlled, community-based organizations providing services and advocacy by and for individuals with all types of disabilities. Our goal is to assist individuals with disabilities to achieve their maximum potential and open doors for personal growth that were once considered to be closed.

🌟 WSIL Employee Spotlight: Bryce Fauskee! 🌟
Meet Bryce! With 18 years of dedication to WSIL, Bryce serves as our Rural Transportation Voucher (RTV) Program Manager.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at WSIL, his answer was simple: the people! 💙

From visiting with consumers throughout the community to working alongside a wonderful team of coworkers, it's the connections and relationships that make his work so rewarding.

Outside of work, Bryce enjoys hunting of all kinds and hitting the slopes with Eagle Mount, a local adaptive recreation group! ⛷️🏔️

We're grateful for Bryce and the difference he continues to make in the lives of those we serve! 👏

Today, Wyoming Services for Independent Living recognizes Indigenous Peoples’ Day and honors the histories, cultures, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous communities throughout Wyoming.

We especially recognize the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho Tribes of the Wind River Reservation, whose heritage and presence are an important part of the communities we serve.

At WSIL, we believe independence begins with dignity, respect, and opportunity. We remain committed to supporting communities where every individual feels valued, included, and empowered.

🌟 WSIL at the Future Focused Fair in Lander!

Independent Living Specialists Rebekka and Kayli are representing WSIL today and sharing how we can support youth with disabilities as they build skills for greater independence.

Independent Living has no age limit! WSIL can partner with schools to work directly with students with disabilities on real-world life skills like self-advocacy, healthy boundaries, financial literacy, planning, preparing for college, accessing community resources, and much more.

School may be 8–3, but independent living is the rest of the day! 💙

🏡 Looking for Support to Stay Independent at Home?

💙 Wyoming Services for Independent Living (WSIL) provides Case management for Community Choices Waiver (CCW) participants!

Our Case Managers help individuals understand their options, coordinate their plan of care, and navigate services available through Wyoming Medicaid’s Community Choices Waiver.

WSIL does not provide hands-on personal care or home health services. Instead, we help coordinate the services and supports available through the waiver.

Through CCW, eligible individuals may receive assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, home-delivered meals, emergency response systems, and other in-home supports. Direct care may be provided by a Home Health Agency or Direct Care Workers of your choosing.

🏠 Our role is helping you coordinate the support you need to live as independently as possible at home.
