Coeymans Hollow’s 11th Annual Horror in the Hollow Hayride a Huge Success!
Jack Dennis, Matt Mortefolio, Heather Collins, and Michelle Beachler, co-chairpersons of the Horror in the Hollow Hayride, along with the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation, would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who helped make the 11th Annual Horror in the Hollow Hayride a tremendous success!
This year’s weather provided the perfect conditions for a spooky evening in the woods filled with ghouls, goblins, zombies, and plenty of frights! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to enjoy the event and support our organization.
With another successful year behind us, we are already looking forward to next year’s event!
Mark your calendars!
- 12th Annual Horror in the Hollow Hayride: Saturday, October 16, 2027

An event of this size would not be possible without the generosity, donations, and assistance of our local businesses, neighboring fire companies, volunteer organizations, and municipal partners. Their continued support plays a vital role in making this annual tradition possible. We encourage everyone to return that generosity by supporting the businesses and organizations that supported us.
A special thank-you to our sponsors, donors, and supporters:
Nolan Energy & Sons, Crossroads Ford, National Bank of Coxsackie, Track 32, Frese’s Catering, Francisco Equipment, Farmer Jon’s, Flach Industries, Access Safety Products, Kyle Kearney, Albany Spray Foam Solutions, Berkshire View Farms, The Ravena News-Herald, Rob VanEtten, Jeff Lukens, Collins & Son, Eck’s Farm Stand, Thiele Carting, Sandy Beck, Towne Law Firm, Wonder Makers Travel, Bixalicious Candies, Aurora Insurance Inc., Babcock Funeral Home, Rail to River, Jeff Goss, RCS High School Drama Club, St. Patrick’s Church, Trinity United Methodist Church, K+B LLC Crane and The Hilltown Hags.
We would also like to recognize and thank the following fire, EMS, public safety, and municipal organizations for their assistance and support:
Cornell Hook and Ladder, East Berne Fire Department, Ravena Hose Company, Selkirk Fire Department, Slingerlands Fire Department, Medway/Grapeville Fire Department, Ravena Rescue, Albany County Paramedics, Albany County Sheriff’s Department, Town of Coeymans Police Department, Town of New Baltimore Highway Department, Town of Coeymans Highway Department, and the Town of Coeymans for allowing us to use Joralemon Park for this wonderful community event.
Finally, we owe an enormous debt of gratitude to the members of the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation and Ladies Auxiliary for their countless hours of preparation, planning, setup, and hard work. From preparing the trail and props to bringing the characters to life, their dedication and commitment are what make this event possible year after year. We also extend our appreciation to every haunter who helped make this year's trail such a memorable experience.
Most importantly, thank YOU! To everyone who purchased tickets, brought their families and friends, came out to be scared, and supported this community tradition, we cannot thank you enough. Your support helps us continue this event and gives us the opportunity to bring our community together year after year.
Without the support of our visitors, sponsors, neighboring organizations, volunteers, and haunters, the Horror in the Hollow would not be the success it is today.
From all of us at the Coeymans Hollow Volunteer Fire Corporation, thank you for another unforgettable year!
We’ll see you in the woods in October 2027… if you dare! 🎃👻
