For each, their journey through the force generation pipeline started for different reasons and from numerous different places, but it led them here to Fort Jackson where today they will graduate and move on to their Advanced Individual Training before joining their first unit of assignement to protect and defend the American way of life.

Attention, 4-39 Family and Friends.
Due to the training schedule and the Thanksgiving Holiday, 4-39 will not conduct Family Day on Tuesday, Nov. 24th.
Instead your graduating Soldier will be granted an additional off-post pass on Thanksgiving Day to spend the holiday with you.

To reiterate, graduating Soldiers in 4-39 will receive two off post passes. One for the remainder of Graduation, and one for Thanksgiving Day. They must report back to their barracks each day by the time designated by their unit and cannot spend the night with you off post.

For more information, including information for those transporting their Soldier to AIT following graduation, please visit the 4-39 page on the Fort Jackson website: https://home.army.mil/jackson/units-tenants/165BDE/4th-battalion-39th-infantry-regiment
